The Academy is one of Aberdeen’s best known shopping centre/leisure destinations. But a new tenant mix and business focus was being hampered by outdated customer perceptions.
We were asked to re-brand the centre and develop a website to reflect their growing focus on food and drink and to change people’s perceptions.
New logo, new people focused photography and a strong black and white theme has given The Academy the distinctive identity it needs to re-establish itself amongst Aberdeen’s top destinations.
The building itself is a converted Georgian school with lots of character but with access from 3 sides in Aberdeen city centre its layout can be confusing. So as part of our ongoing involvement we will be rolling out a fully branded signage and wayfinding solution to give the whole centre a greater sense of identity.
