For Communities for Seas communication and community is everything.

Following the successful delivery of our Fidra suite of websites Flora and Fauna International commissioned Glowfish to create a hub website for their collaborative Coastal Communities Network initiative. The aim of the project is to work with the numerous NGO’s around our coast working to look after and develop their environment and communities.

The site helps to connect and co-ordinate the various groups, promoting best practice and enabling them to access their shared knowledge pool of experience and commitment.

To achieve this the site highlights a number of projects and their outcomes while offering an extensive member area with additional material, documents and guidance including details of the latest government initiatives and opportunities. The members are encouraged to interact with one another, sharing experience and knowledge via the members’ forum which is moderated and driven by in-house staff.

Glowfish developed the initial platform and design to be as flexible as possible allowing Communities for Seas to take ownership and continue to expand and develop the site to match their requirements as the project grows.
